The man behind the sticks (Mr Carl Griffin) has only gone done a 20 minute mixtape aint he! Filled with all his fave dubstep tunes of the past and present. We hope you enjoy it. More mixtapes coming soon
This week has been a pretty chilled one. We’ve mainly been writing new songs and recording demo’s of them. We’re also planning our first show back which will be very exciting and may actually be like no other show anyone has ever put on before. It will be in Birmingham but we’ll be playing everywhere in the summer. Hold tight.
Anyways, here’s some pics of what we’ve been up to over the last few days:

Today we were hanging out with our housemates and some friends and decided to knock up our own version of “Junior Spesh”. Josh and Carl did the musicz, Stu did a verse, Simon did some backing and Anna sat next to the speakers laughing but made the (wise) decision not to get involved. Our housemate Matt did a verse, Our mate Joe did a verse and our other housemate Andre did some backing too:
A few months ago, an actress and writer named Abigail Tarttelin got in contact and asked if we were up for lending her one of our songs for a book she was writing. Its a new concept put together by Amazing Media and Beautiful books where basically, The music and the book come together as one multimedia project. We were picked along side a few other bands to help soundtrack the story.
Here is Abigail herself:
We swapped a few emails and she seemed really cool so we told her it was definitely something we’d like to be involved in. The last few details have been finalised and we can with great pleasure announce that the book will be out on April the 7th:
Here’s the short synopsis:
"The first novel from 23-year old debut author Abigail Tarttelin, Flick is a tender, and sometimes not-so-tender coming-of-age story told by its protagonist Will Flicker. Will a.k.a. ‘Flick’ is a sexy, witty, highly intelligent and charming 15 year old from the North East coast of England. Unfortunately for Flick, there isn’t much to do with all those brilliant qualities out in a village like Marske-by-the-Sea.
Marooned by a lack of education and a lack of generally anything else better to do, Flick muses on the artistry behind being a stoner, whether Pepsi is better than Coke and why the new girl in town is just so much hotter than all the familiar slappers and professional-abortionists he counts amongst his friends.
Likened to a modern-day Romeo and Juliet with a voice reminiscent of the rawness of seventies punk, Flick has been dubbed ‘funny, sparky and sexy’, ‘eccentric and clever’, ‘fresh’, ‘wry’, ‘richly atmospheric’, ‘oh-so-rude’ and ‘a knockout debut’ by a new author publishers are calling ‘a firecracker of a talent’.”“
We can’t wait until it comes out. By which point we’ll hopefully be on the road again with loads of new songs and something new to release. Check out her blog here:
We had a blog ages but that kinda stopped working. we’ve moved into a Big house together which has no internet at the moment so we aint been able to fix ourselves up a new one. House is nice though. We’ll be spending a lot of time writing and rehearsing here. Look at some pictures of it:
